§ 77. Mr. Rentonasked the Minister of Transport whether he is aware that the Great North Road, A1, is in great need of improvement between Eaton Socon and Wansford and that his Department has already acquired, levelled and fenced the land necessary for widening and straightening that part of it which is between Alconbury Hill and Conington; and when the work of improvement will be resumed.
§ Mr. BarnesIt would cost about £475,000 to complete the improvement work between Alconbury Hill and Conington and I am unable to say when I shall be able to authorise its resumption.
