§ 50. Mr. Donnerasked the Minister of Defence whether he will consult with General Eisenhower and/or with the Atlantic Treaty Powers in order to safeguard stocks of strategic raw materials by placing the bulk of these in areas secure from any danger of being overrun by Communist forces in the event of war.
§ Mr. ShinwellOur representatives and no doubt those of the other Powers of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation will appreciate the importance of ensuring that stockpiles are located with due regard for strategic considerations.
