§ Mr. P. Wellsasked the Minister of Labour what proportion of seasonal agricultural workers, applying to employment exchanges in the Faversham, Sittingbourne, Maidstone and Medway towns areas, for alternative employment in their off-seasons have been placed since October, 1950.
§ Mr. BevanThe information desired by my hon. Friend is not available, but it is known that since 31st October approximately 300 women, who had worked for a time on the land during 1950, and who registered at the employment exchanges specified, have been placed in or found other employment.
