§ 66. Mr. G. R. Howardasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will, having regard to the peculiar conditions of service of those concerned, consider allowing tax-free tobacco and cigarettes to those members of the Trinity House Service who are stationed on lightships and also on lighthouses off the coasts of the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. JayNo. Whilst I appreciate the onerous nature of the work in this important Service, I fear I cannot single out these men on this account for a special Revenue concession.
