§ Mr. Wheatleyasked the Secretary of State for Scotland when he proposes to make a new allocation of houses to Edinburgh Corporation: on what basis this allocation will be fixed; and what relation it will bear to the number of houses completed during the past two years.
§ Mr. J. StuartI hope to announce the next allocations of houses to Scottish local authorities in January. The allocations will take into account the housing needs of each authority, the progress being made, and any special circumstances which may affect their area.
