Mr. Black

asked the President of the Board of Trade what were the quantities and values of children's shoes imported into the United Kingdom from Eire in each of the 11 quarters during the period beginning 1st January, 1949, and ending 30th September, 1951.

Imports from Eire of children's leather boots, bootees and shoes (other than overshoes, slippers, houseshoes and sandals) during the 11 quarters from 1st January, 1949, to 30th September, 1951, are given in the table below. Children's footwear of other materials and types is not shown separately in the import statistics.
