HC Deb 02 August 1951 vol 491 cc250-1W
Mr. Bossom

asked the Minister of Local Government and Planning, where special types of fully or partially prefabricated permanent houses are approved by his Department for use in England, whether this approval applies equally to Scotland; and whether, where such houses are approved by the Secretary of State for use in Scotland, they are equally approved for use in England.

Mr. Lindgren

Approval in either country means that the house is structurally sound, stable and permanent and therefore suitable for erection by local authorities—whether English or Scottish.
