asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he is aware that the Committee on Cruelty to Wild Animals in its Report did not deal with the hunting of badgers with hounds or beagles; and whether he will arrange for the Committee to be reappointed to consider and report on these practices.

I should not feel justified in reappointing the Committee to give further consideration to this particular aspect of the problem.
