HC Deb 02 August 1951 vol 491 c271W
Mr. Bossom

asked the Minister of Supply if he will take steps to ensure increased supplies of raw materials to manufacturers for making cartridges, so that the farmers do not suffer from the difficulty of obtaining cartridges for destroying rabbits.

Mr. G. R. Strauss

The principal manufacturers of cartridges have enough raw materials at present to enable them to supply the trade at the same rate as in 1950. I do not, therefore, think it necessary to increase supplies of raw materials for this purpose.
