asked the Minister of Food if he will reconsider the selling price fixed by his Department for canned minced beef loaf from Australia, which he allows to be freely imported but which must be sold at 1s. 4d. a ¾-pound tin, whilst the Australians desire to raise their wholesale price by 7½d. which he will not permit importers to pay.
