HC Deb 12 April 1951 vol 486 c103W
87. Brigadier Medlicott

asked the Minister of Health what is the present position of his discussions concerning the possibility of tuberculosis patients being treated in Switzerland under National Health Service arrangements.

Mr. Marquand

Arrangements are now being worked out for the use of about 160 beds in Switzerland for suitable patients from England and Wales suffering from respiratory tuberculosis, and it is hoped to start sending patients out in a few months' time.
