HC Deb 11 April 1951 vol 486 c81W
79. Mr. Donnelly

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty what steps he is taking to survey Admiralty electrical installations in Pembrokeshire to ensure that there will be no recurrence of the recent tragedy at Solva, when a boy was electrocuted.

Mr. W. Edwards

None. All Admiralty electrical installations are regularly surveyed to see that they are safe. The situation at Solva is altogether exceptional. Although the sub-station there belongs to the Admiralty, the local rural district council use it to supply electricity to the people who live in nearby hutments.
