§ 91. Mr. Russellasked the Minister of Agriculture if, in view of the international situation, he will extend the operation of Defence Regulation62A for a further period so as to give local authorities the option of continuing wartime allotments on land intended as open space.
§ Mr. G. BrownI would refer the hon. Member to the statement made on 27th July by the Lord President of the Council that after the Summer Recess a Motion would be proposed praying that an Order in Council be made to continue in force for one year the Supplies and Services (Transitional Powers), Act, 1945. Which Defence Regulations should be continued by extension of the Act is still being considered. Defence Regulation 62A is one of the Regulations operating under the Act.
