§ 55. Mr. Errollasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer why the Account for the period ending 31st March, 1950, under the Housing Act, 1914, was presented in dummy on 24th July, 1950; and when full accounts will be available.
§ Mr. JayUnder the Housing Act, 1914, this Account has to be presented to the House by 30th September each year. As the rules of the House do not permit the presentation of the Accounts while the House is not sitting, it was presented in dummy before the House rose for the Summer Recess, and full copies were available to hon. Members on 25th September.
