HC Deb 04 May 1950 vol 474 cc212-3W
44. Mr. H. Fraser

asked the Minister of Health whether he is aware of delays of over 10 months in the provision of glasses for growing children; and whether he will take steps to see that greater priority is given to glasses for the young in whose case there are the best chances of corrective treatment.

Mr. Bevan

I am aware that there are delays in the provision of some children's glasses, but the priority arrangements already cover cases of the kind specified by the hon. Member. In general I believe these arrangements are working well.
