asked the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Relations when the report on the ritual murders in Basutoland will be published.

The report on the recent inquiry into the so-called " ritual " murders in Basutoland has been submitted to the High Commissioner, who will forward it to me with his comments on the recommendations made in it. Until I have studied the report and his comments, I cannot say whether it will be published.
