§ Brigadier Medlicottasked the Minister of Transport if he is aware that there are indications that the noise of a car radio interferes with the efficient driving of the vehicle; and if he will have this matter investigated as being a possible contributory cause of road accidents.
§ Mr. BarnesI have no evidence that car radios interfere with efficient driving or contribute to road accidents. Investigation of the matter presents considerable difficulty, but the Road Research Laboratory are giving attention to it. I shall be grateful for any information the hon. and gallant Member may have.
