Major McCallumasked the Minister of Transport if he is aware of the dangerous condition of the bridge over the River Laggan on the" high road to Port Ellen, in the Island of Islay; and if his Department will give sympathetic reconsideration to the request for a grant towards the cost of the reconstruction of this bridge.
§ Mr. BarnesConsideration is being given to the possibility of including this scheme in the list of works to be assisted from the proposed additional provision for roadwork in the Highlands.
