§ 75. Mr. Osborneasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will issue through the Central Office of Information a short summary of the report of British trade unionists who visited the United States of America last year to investigate the rôle of unions in this country in increasing productivity; and if he will circularise this summary free to every trades unionist in Great Britain.
§ Mr. GaitskellThis most interesting and valuable report has been prepared and published at the instance of the T.U.C. for the consideration of the trade union movement generally. I have no doubt that the T.U.C. will take suitable steps to enable the report to be discussed as widely as possible. We shall be glad to arrange for the Government information services to give assistance should this be required.
