Pursuant to his reply of 25th July [OFFICIAL REPORT, Written Answers, Col. 28], Sir STAFFORD CRIPPS supplied the following information:

No police officers are specially employed to obtain convictions for parking offences; but an average of 15 officers daily, excluding Sundays, are employed on foot patrols in the West End Central sub-division for the purpose of preventing obstruction and facilitating the free flow of traffic.
