§ 122. Mr. Russellasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies the total expenditure which will be incurred in the rebuilding of Castries, St. Lucia; and on whom the cost is going to fall.
§ Mr. J. GriffithsIt is estimated that the total expenditure will be between £1,300,000 and £1,350,000 excluding private rebuilding. Subject to the approval of Parliament, His Majesty's Government proposes to provide up to £1,025,000 towards this cost; the remainder, it is proposed, should be met by St. Lucia loan funds.
