asked the Minister of Supply whether he is aware of the anxiety of the Birmingham brass foundry trade and associated industries in regard to the supply of zinc; and what increase in tonnage of this metal he has been able to buy in respect of the first quarter of 1951 as compared with the similar period of 1950.

asked the Minister of Supply if he will now allow the private importation of zinc to fill that part of the current demand which his Department is unable to fill.

asked the Minister of Supply (1) if he can yet announce the rate at which his Department will be able to supply copper during 1951;

(2) if he can yet announce the rate at which his Department will be able to supply zinc during 1951.
