asked the hon. Member for Bristol, North-East, as Chairman of the Kitchen Committee, if he will improve the consistency of the pudding served in the Strangers' Dining Room as lemon sponge.

Seeing that we received no complaint it may be assumed that the inconsistency lay in the hon. Member's palate, and not in the pudding.
