§ 111. Mr. J. Fosterasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, having regard to the fact that agreement regarding compensation for British property affected by Czech measures of nationalisation and expropriation was made on 28th September, 1949, he will issue the regulations under which claims are to be lodged and payment made, so that those who have suffered from these Czech measures may receive the compensation due to them.
§ Mr. Ernest DaviesIt is hoped to introduce legislation shortly to establish a Claims Commission empowered to adjudicate claims and to distribute the sums due from the Czechoslovak Government under the agreement referred to by the hon. Member.
