§ Mr. ShinwellI have been asked to reply. Nino hundred and thirty-seven persons have been tried on war crimes charges by British Military Courts in the British zone of Germany. Six hundred and seventy-seven of them have been convicted, 230 being sentenced to death. One hundred and seventy-four death sentences have been carried out.
