HC Deb 24 November 1949 vol 470 c43W
22. Mr. Touche

asked the Minister ot Health if he is aware that the use of the Reigate and Redhill Infectious Diseases Hospital for cases of leprosy will embarrass the Reigate Borough Council in the discharge of its statutory duties in connection with the supervision and control of infectious diseases in the Borough of Reigate unless adequate alternative hospital accommodation is provided; and if he will give an assurance that such accommodation will be available before the present isolation hospital is turned into a leper colony.

Mr. Bevan

Adequate alternative accommodation for cases of infectious disease already exists in other isolation hospitals in the area.
