§ 10. Sir F. Sandersonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what should be done with ordinary civilian respirators, which have now been in the custody of members of the public for nine years and must have deteriorated in this time; and whether he will either call them in for overhaul or advise the public how to dispose of them to the greatest advantage to the salvage campaign.
§ Mr. EdeThe question of respirators is one of the questions which is receiving consideration in connection with preparations for Civil Defence, but I do not at present wish to alter the advice which has been given to the public in the past to keep their respirators in proper care.
