Mr. Osborneasked the Minister of National Insurance if he is aware that George Michael, aged 71, of South Somercotes, Lincolnshire, who received a National Assistance Board pension of 26s. a week for nearly a year, had his pension stopped in July, 1948, and was instructed to appear before a tribunal within 21 days; that though he replied immediately, he has not yet received a reply as indicated in the correspondence sent to the Department; and if he will have this matter investigated at once and make a statement.
