§ 77. Mr. N. Macphersonasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what progress has been made towards providing freezing plant for mutton in the Falkland Islands; when it will be in operation; what is the estimated output per annum; and what arrangements are being made to transport it to this Kingdom.
§ Mr. Rees-WilliamsAn expert from the Colonial Development Corporation has recently returned from the Falkland Islands where he has been investigating a meat-freezing project. I am informed that his report, when completed, will be considered without delay by the Corporation.
