§ Mr. Rees-WilliamsTwo American experts have been engaged through the Economic Co-operation Administration because of their specialised knowledge of mechanised rice cultivation. The dollar138W cost of their salaries during their two to three months' mission will be met from E.C.A. funds. They are also entitled to a subsistence allowance of£2 a day while in British Guiana, which is payable from Colonial Development and Welfare funds.
