§ Mr. GaitskellRegional petroleum officers are authorised to grant supplementary petrol allowances to meet the reasonable needs of builders, architects, contractors and others engaged in housing contracts. It is always open to an applicant to seek support for his application, or to the regional petroleum officer to 161W seek confirmation of any statements in the application, from the local authority concerned.
