§ Mr. Wilfred PalingThese places are on the fringes of the areas normally covered by the B.B.C. Home and Light programme transmitters, and after sunset reception is subject to some fading and interference. In fringe areas better results are obtained if good sets equipped with automatic volume control and good outdoor aerials are used.
