§ Mr. Wilfred PalingThe sealed bag concerned was intact when it was checked and despatched from Kendal Post Office at 6.25 p.m. on the 18th of August, 1948. A cut was observed in the base of the bag when it was checked on receipt at the London Parcel Section at 8.45 a.m. on the 19th of August.
