Mr. Gammansasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if, in view of the fact that the Government of Mauritius lost 150,000 rupees as a result of an unfortunate deal in dhall by the home Government at the same time that a quantity of split peas was imported by private enterprise and sold at a lower price, why this loss is falling on the people of Mauritius.
