Abergavenny trunk road at Merthyr Tydfil, so that the labour of the large numbers of unemployed men in these areas may be utilised.
§ Mr. CallaghanMy right hon. Friend hopes to begin work on the Merthyr Slip Road in the early summer and on the first section of the Hirwaun-Abergavenny road, between Dowlais Top and Llechryd, early next year. Survey work on the road between Cardiff and Merthyr is proceeding.
