§ Mr. IsaacsNo request for my Department's intervention has been received from either side. There is ample machinery available in the industry for dealing with matters in dispute. After a resumption of work on Friday last to allow negotiations to proceed a further stoppage took place and discussions were suspended. While the parties are considering these developments I am not in a position to make any further statement.
