§ Mr. Hurdasked the Minister of Food from what date the subsidy on purchased feedingstuffs is to be abolished.
§ Mr. StracheyThe subsidy on feeding-stuffs is not to be abolished but, as my236W right hon. Friend the Minister of Agriculture said in his reply to my hon. Friend the Member for Winchester (Mr. G. Jeger), on 24th January, is to be reduced by increasing the prices of most feeding-stuffs. I have not yet fixed the date when the new prices will come into force. An announcement will be made in due course.
