asked the Secretary of State for Air how many unestablished civil servants remain to be established in his Department; and whether he has now agreed with the Staff Side of the Departmental Whitley Council as to the method by which these should be selected.

245 vacancies for establishment of temporary clerks in the Air Ministry remain to be filled under the current establishment scheme and agreement has been reached with the Staff Side of the Departmental Whitley Council as to the method by which candidates should be selected.
