§ 52. Mr. N. Macleanasked the Minister of Labour whether he is aware that approximately 200 employees of Messrs. Stern & Company, manufacturers of refrigerator plant, at Hillington Estate, Glasgow, have been dismissed as being redundant, or are under notice of dismissal; whether arrangements were considered to continue those workers in employment; or whether steps will be taken to find them alternative employment in, or near, the Hillington Estate.
