§ Mr. Harrisonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will recommend, in the recent case where Peter Griffiths was condemned to death for the murder of a three year old child taken from the Queens Park Hospital, that special recognition shall he given to the police officers in charge of the case, in view of the great difficulties that they overcame.
§ Mr. EdeThe chief officers of police concerned can be relied on, in this as in other cases, to see that suitable action is taken, and it would not be appropriate for me to take the initiative in the matter.
