§ 65. Mr. Sargoodasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, as a result of the findings of the inquiry into the fire at the premises of Alfred Harris & Company, Ltd., of Townsend Terrace, Richmond, Surrey, on 4th September, 1947, he proposes to make any new regulations to control the storage of scrap celluloid in order to minimise the risk of fire.
§ Mr. EdeThis report indicates that there is need to consider the problem of the celluloid risk on a basis wider than that of the particular fire at Richmond, and I am in consultation with my right hon. Friend the Minister of Labour and National Service on the matter.
