§ 69. Mr. Odeyasked the Minister of Pensions whether he is aware that, owing to the declared intention of the Government to purchase artificial limbs through the present sole contractor to the Ministry of Pensions, Messrs. Desoutter Brothers, Limited, one of the leading suppliers of artificial limbs, have announced their intention of closing their artificial limb 51W department after 5th July; and, in view of the consternation that this is causing to many disabled ex-Service men if he will review the arrangement that he has made with regard to the placing of orders for these artificial limbs.
