HC Deb 10 February 1948 vol 447 c50W
106. Mr. Bossom

asked the Minister of Labour if he will instruct his officers, who send workers to farms, not to send untrained men to do specialised work, such as milking, without notifying the farmer beforehand.

Mr. Isaacs

It is the practice of my local officers to endeavour to submit workers who are in all respects suitable for the vacancies concerned. They are instructed that, where any person is submitted for employment in which he is not fully experienced, the employer notifying the vacancies should be advised accordingly.
