Mr. Gallacher

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer how much steel it is being estimated will be allocated for the following purposes in 1948: mining, shipbuilding, agricultural machinery, electricity generation, gas production, transport, motor cars, motor lorries, motor bicycles, bicycles, factory building, Government factory building and for Colonial industrial building, harbours, transport and plant; and how much steel was supplied for the same purposes in 1947 and 1938.
