§ 85. Mr. Hollisasked the President of the Board of Trade what measures are taken to see that all firms to whom a paper allocation for the publication of books is made do in fact publish books; and whether he is satisfied that all such paper allocations are used for publications by the firms to whom they are made.
§ Mr. BottomleyPublishers are required to give-an undertaking that they will not transfer any paper licensed to them for books to other publishers except with permission from the Paper Control. Inquiries are at present being made into certain groups of quota holders to check that proper use is made of any paper licensed for book production. If the hon. Member has any case in mind I shall be glad if he would send me particulars.
