Willeyasked the Minister of Food whether he has considered the views of the Sunderland Food Control Committee regarding the terms of allocation of 16W supplies to confectioners; and whether he has reviewed the terms of this allocation with particular reference to the hardships imposed on towns such as Sunderland which are in areas formerly designated distressed areas and whether he will make a statement.
