§ 110. Mrs. Nicholasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if any reply has been received from the Syrian Government to the protest of His Majesty's Government against the attack in the North of Palestine which took place on 9th January; and what action does His Majesty's Government contemplate to prevent further violations of this frontier.
§ Mr. BevinThe Syrian Government have replied verbally to the protest made by His Majesty's Minister in Damascus. They have been left in no doubt as to the serious view that would be taken by His Majesty's Government of any further violations of the Palestine frontier.
