HC Deb 02 February 1948 vol 446 c226W
Sir W. Smithers

asked the Minister of Works if his attention has been called to the case of Messrs. H. P. E. Neave, Limited, prosecuted on 26th January, at North Walsham, because they used old materials for a drawing office for their own staff; and if he will amend the regulations in order to prevent such prosecutions.

Mr. Key

I am aware of this prosecution which was undertaken by the local authority on account of failure to obtain a building licence. I see no reason to amend the regulations.
