Mr. Medlicottasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury if he is aware of the continued delay in the assessment of duty on documents submitted to the Adjudication Section of the office of the Controller of Stamps; how far this delay is due to shortage of staff in the Section; and what measures are being taken to bring the staff up to the requisite numbers.
