asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he will now permit British ex-Service men and civilians married to German women still living in Germany to return to their wives and families when they desire to do so, although fully aware of the conditions prevailing in Germany.

Yes. This is normally permitted in the British zone if accommodation is available and there is a reasonable assurance that the person concerned will not become a burden on the community. Admission to other than the British zones is, of course, a matter for the respective occupation authorities.
